The Student Executives at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) accepted a comparative study from a student organization from Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH) Surabaya. On that occasion, both parties exchanged information concerning organizational experience.
The comparative study was hosted in the auditorium on the seventh floor of the H building, with dozens of students and Dr. Kusni Ingsih, M.M. (the Vice Chancellor III of Student Affairs) being present. Aufa Marzuq Alwi, the President of the Student Executives of the Catra Balakosa Cabinet, presented profiles and accomplishments garnered by students of Udinus. Additionally, the president also explained 72 student organizations at Udinus in detail. Those 72 student organizations encompassed several organizations at department, faculty, and university levels.
The President of the Student Executives, Aufa Marzuq Alwi, gently welcomed the arrival of representatives from UPH Surabaya. This comparative study would expand the knowledge and insight possessed by both parties. Aufa also explained that the comparative study mainly discussed the vision and mission implemented by the Student Executives. On that occasion, Aufa also provided several examples of work programs run by student organizations at Udinus.
“This comparative study serves as a platform for both parties to deepen our relationship. Moreover, we have also shared several lessons concerning organization with them, and hopefully, it could ultimately benefit both parties,” he explained.
The Student Life and Career Center of UPH Surabaya comparative study used the topic of ‘New Experience for Better Quality.’ The new experience refers to the experience shared by both parties with each other, allowing them to get better work quality.
Erwin Kristanto, the Head of the Student Life and Career Center of UPH Surabaya, stated that the comparative study aimed to provide a platform to learn the organizational system and work program of student organizations at Udinus. Moreover, this comparative study was also among work programs conducted by student organizations at UPH Surabaya. According to Erwin, Udinus had many student organizations, and they could run properly, with many accomplishments in their possession.
