Introducing the culture from the land of cherry blossoms to Indonesian, Hikari Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) will hold a culture festival themed on Japanese customs. The festival is called Bunkasai and it will be the inaugural event since the pandemic of Covid-19.
The Japanese Language Major students are all set to host the eagerly awaited Culture Festival, known as Bunkasai, on June 17th until June 18th, 2023. This vibrant event will take place at the courtyard of Udinus G Building. Visitors can look forward to see the performances by renowned artists such as DJ Saddam and Clarissa Punipun. In addition, participants will have the chance to showcase their talent in exciting contests including Dance Cover, Anisong, and Bunkasai Group Bands.
As the head organizer of Bunkasai Udinus 2023, Dendy Ariatna stated that one way to promote the bachelor of Japanese language as well as Udinus to the public. Bunkasai can also be the place for students to develop their soft skills and interests in Japanese Culture. For the past 2 years, Hikari Udinus was not able to hold Bunkasai due to Covid-19. So, this year will be the first Bunkasai event.
“Through Bunkasai, students and locals will not only learn Japanese language and its culture theoretically but they can also apply those learning directly through Bunkasai Event,” he said.
