Hera Irnandha, a notable student at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro, has achieved numerous medals in the field of Karate. She competed in several regional championships and international championship.

She has been a karate athlete since when she was in elementary school, in 2009. “At first, I was only a karate club member. Driven by that motivation, the woman who was simply known as Hera determined to get as many medals as possible in numerous karate championships. Her phenomenal achievements granted scholarships from Junior High School all the way to university.

“However, my journey has not always been smooth, I once had injuries forcing me to take a break from various matches. To me, an injury is the biggest enemy an athlete could face.” Said the woman who was born in Jepara.

In the University, Hera, who started his study in 2020, was also active in the Karate Student Activity Unit (UKM). She did that to develop her ability by training and competing in various university-level karate competitions. She admitted that joining the unit had impacted her life in a good way.

“Udinus has been giving me full support in various sports events. They provided me tons of support when I participated in international competitions. The student’s affair bureau has also tirelessly granted me scholarships,” she admitted.

Before that, Hera was a champion in many kinds of competitions. In the Semar International Cup sports event, she became the champion of the women’s kumite +68 kg and got the title ‘Best of the best woman player.
