After two years of being held online due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) has resumed its offline matriculation program. The new students who completed the registration process, including those in the registration wave I – A until I – B, will be participating in the offline event on July 17th, 2023.
Matriculation serves as an essential program to introduce Udinus to its new students. Thousands of first-year students will be attending the event, which will take place in the D, G, and H building of Udinus. The students have been thoughtfully grouped based on their respective study programs.
Dr. Pujiono S.Si., M.Kom., the Head of Learning and Development Institute (LP2K) Udinus, said that the student candidates were grouped according to their individual study programs. The group as well as the class schedule will be informed online on July 12th, 2023.
“Essential information regarding the matriculation can be accessed by the new students through the website page dinus.org.. later on, the matriculation will be organized for a whole month and mandatory for all new students,” explained Dr. Pujiono.
On different occasion, Prof. Dr. Supriadi Rustard, M.Si., Vice-Chancellor I Academic Sector Udinus, explained that the purpose of the matriculation served as a crucial platform for students to get to know more about the respective study programs that they had chosen.
“Other than study programs introduction, they will also be provided with Information Technology (PTI) Course, which refers to Udinus as an IT Campus. Different from last year, we are also teaching them about data science and machine learning,” added Prof. Supriadi.
Currently, Udinus continues to accept registrations for new students for the academic year 2023/2024 until August 25th, 2023. Prospective students can register for the second wave of registration directly at the Udinus campus at Imam Bonjol Street No. 207 Semarang, or online through the official website of Udinus pmb.dinus.ac.id.
