Rahma Eka Oktavianti – An Alumna of the Undergraduate Biomedical Engineering Program at Udinus
Her dedication on campus led Rahma Oktavianti to get the best result upon embarking on her professional career. Rahma Eka Oktavianti, an Alumna of the Undergraduate Biomedical Engineering Program at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus), is currently pursuing her career as an Assistant Manager and Product Specialist in the Digital Health Ecosystem at Airmas Sinergi Informatika Ltd.
Rahma has been initiating her journey in many different careers including a host on live TikTok and an admin for an e-commerce prior to pursuing her current career. With biomedical engineering experience within her grasp, she was offered to be a team solution for a PIC project at a hospital.
“I have been working for roughly a year, and then, I was appointed as an Assistant Manager due to my good work performance. Additionally, I was also once a part of the support marketing team to present and handle hospital projects scattered around Central Java,” Rahma, who graduated in 2021, explained.
Rahma claimed that she often implemented the knowledge she earned on campus at her workplace. One of which was the knowledge surrounding the Internet of Things (IoT) System, which helped her in running projects.
“The company I work at mainly engages in the realm of IT. I am no longer a stranger to this field, as I learned several bits of it at college. The IoT System is among many systems often used in hospitals,” she shared.
Rahma, born in Kendal in 1999, is also one of the alumni from Udinus with the cum laude predicate under her belt. Rahma revealed that diligence was the key to resolving every problem on campus, including graduating with satisfying results.
“Furthermore, it is also important to plan your activities so that they can be systematically structured without abandoning any of those activities. You must also know full well about your goals; thus, you should arrange your aims to make them in such an orderly fashion,” Rahma emphasized.
Rahma encouraged students at Udinus not to procrastinate and to get out of their safe zones. “Do not look down upon small things, but you should focus on the problem-solving methods and solutions instead. Simplify complex things, and gain connections in a proper way,” concluded the owner of the @rahmaeka.v. Instagram account. (Humas Udinus/Ika. Foto: Dok. Pribadi)
