Ifnu Setya Alfaturachman – Undergraduate student of Management Program at Udinus

According to Ifnu, being a student is one of the privileges that not everyone can experience. There are many things that we can do as a student to explore our passions. 

Besides spending time learning on campus, a student at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) known by the name Ifnu, is also actively involved in student organizations whilst creating business with his colleagues. Nothing can stop Ifnu from running his business, not even the high responsibility that he bears as the governor of the Student Executive Board of the Economics and Business Department at Udinus, by the year 2023-2024 period.

It all started from his interest in Sneakers Fashion since high school. In 2022, he started a business in the field of maintenance service and shoe cleaning company with his friends which still stands strong with ‘cucisepatu.smg’ as the name of the company.

“I am happy and proud of myself since the first day I ran this business. I am applying the knowledge that I learned during college such as marketing management, finance, and business operations,” stated the Undergraduate Student of the Management Study Program.

Ifnu has faced all kinds of Ups and Downs in running a business. He said that high and low sales were completely normal things. But he also emphasized that we needed to stay strong in facing problems or simply just consider business issues as a form of delayed encouragement to improve. 

“It’s just a business. At the end of the day, high sales will eventually go down as well. To minimize that matter, I always undertake marketing research to elevate my product consumer. I believe that Allah has full control of the rewards of our hard work. Therefore, all we can do is to try our best and pray,” said Ifnu.

Ifnu, who was born in Kendal, admitted that he goes through his busy day with a smile on his face along with sincere feelings in his heart so that he won’t be stressed out. Although he has a lot of activities, he never left out one of them by properly managing his time between college, organization, and business.

“Before I did all of those activities, I said to myself that being a student while leading an organization is not as busy as people who work in a big company. There is always a collision against another schedule, but it all depends on how are we going to overcome it, and that’s when the skill of problem-solving is very needed.

Ifnu wants to prove that becoming an activist won’t affect our college life or even other activities. In fact, Being an activist encourages us to be open-minded and gain many experiences to improve in the future. He also hoped that his business could grow bigger and bigger across various cities as well as provide employment.

Ifnu, who was born in 2003, motivates all students at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro to utilize their valuable time on campus. “Make use of your time in college at its fullest. Don’t forget to explore and self-improve. And then, create as many accomplishments as you can whilst expanding your relations. and last but not least, don’t waste your time while you are still learning as a student,” uttered Ifnu.
