THE DEPARTMENT OF UNDERGRADUATE BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING AT UDINUS ACHIEVED THE ‘VERY GOOD’ ACCREDITATION

Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) Semarang keeps improving the quality of its study program. Recently, the Biomedical Engineering Study Program in the Engineering Faculty at Udinus has successfully been accredited as ‘Very Good.’ 

Akreditasi yang didapatkan itu berdasarkan Surat Keputusan (SK) Badan Akreditasi Nasional Perguruan Tinggi (BAN-PT) dengan nomor SK 3657/SK/BAN-PT/Ak.KP/S/IX/2023. Surat keputusan tersebut, telah diterbitkan oleh BAN PT sejak tanggal 12 September 2023, dan akan berlaku hingga tanggal 15 September 2025. 

In response to this achievement, Dr. Aripin, M.Kom, the Head of the Undergraduate Biomedical Engineering Study Program, expressed his pride in the accomplishments of the Department he led. This acquirement shows that the lecturers, education systems, research, and publication outputs have been running well. He was also committed to improving the academic quality at Udinus, particularly in the Department of Undergraduate Biomedical Engineering. Additionally, he conveyed his gratitude to all parties involved.  

“This is the result of our hard work in the accrediting process. We will keep maintaining our granted trust to refine this department for the years to come,” he explained. 

Currently, the Department of Biomedical Engineering has tied partnerships with various hospitals in Indonesia, three of which are the Regional KRMT Wongsonegoro Hospital, Telogorejo Hospital, and Ken Saras Hospital. Not only that, the Undergraduate Biomedical Engineering Study Program has also been internationally accredited as ‘Provisionally Accredited’ by the IABEE.

Dekan Fakultas Teknik (FT) Udinus, Heru Agus Santoso, Ph.D berterimakasih atas kerja keras seluruh tim di Prodi S-1 Teknik Biomedis mampu meraih akreditasi Baik Sekali. Ia pun berharap akreditasi dapat terus ditingkatkan untuk kedepannya.

“ini sebuah prestasi yang luar biasa dan kini seluruh Prodi di FT Udinsu telha terakreditasi internasional. Kami harap kualitas Pendidikan khususnya di FT Udinus akan terus meningkat dan menghasilkan inovasi-inovasi yang berkualitas,” tutupnya. (Humas Udinus/Alex. Foto: Humas Udinus)
