As one of the best accredited private universities in Central Java, Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) has been trusted by many parties, particularly for its technological sector. In an attempt to take a glance at how the computer network and telecommunication systems are implemented, SMK Negeri 4 Banjar, a high school from Banjar, West Java, conducted an industrial visit at Udinus on Tuesday, October 10, 2023.
The visitation involved 106 students and five teachers from the Computer Network and Telecommunication Major at SMK Negeri 4 Banjar. Those students and teachers were seen as enthusiastic as they had many questions to be asked.
Mufadil, the Head of the Expertise Program, expressed his utmost gratitude for the warm welcome given by Udinus. “Our students are eager to see various facilities and innovations possessed by Udinus. We could see that the campus has more than sufficient facilities and infrastructures to develop the computer network,” he uttered.
Meanwhile, the visitation was warmly welcomed by Andi Hallang Lewa, S.S, M.M., the Head of the Admission and Promotion Bureau. On that occasion, he introduced the visitors to innovations and achievements produced by both students and faculty members on campus. The introduction served as a concrete proof that Udinus tirelessly support students by providing the best environment possible, so that they could produce more innovations.
“There are two study programs here concerning computer networking, including the Undergraduate Informatics and Undergraduate Information System. Those two departments have been properly equipped with qualified facilities, encompassing well-equipped computer laboratories,” he explained.
Additionally, Elkaf Rahmawan Pramudya, M.Kom, the Chief Laboratory, was also present to explain the main topic of this visitation, namely computer networking. He shared that there were two featured majors, including intelligent systems and software engineering.
