In the current era of technological advancements, many innovations emerge to help mankind. One of those innovations is the widely- -implemented Artificial Intelligence (AI), . In an attempt to give students a platform to learn about AI, Universitas Dian Nuswantoro with Asus ROG Indonesia hosted the ROG Innovation Class.
With Your First Step to AI as its theme, the ROG Innovation Class featured a famous speaker, namely, Yudhistira Udd Sondakh, a video and advertisement content creator. On that occasion, Udd presented students with an explanation regarding how to create digital content using AI.
During his presentation, Udd explained that AI is a technology designed for a computer system to replicate the intelligence of humans. Moreover, there would be many benefits if one were to utilize AI to its fullest.
By utilizing AI, you can save time, as AI can assist you in both your jobs and businesses,” he continued.
He emphasized that youths must quickly adapt to the rapid pace of technological advancements. This is because the world is gradually evolving as seconds tick.
"We must utilize what we have to its fullest. Upgrade your skills. Use AI for the good of our country! For the reason that we, youths, are the pillar of Indonesia,” he stated.

Experimenting Using AI
The ROG Innovation Class took place in the auditorium on the seventh floor of the H building on Friday, December 15th, 2023, with the audience sparked their enthusiasm for the event. In addition to students from Udinus, the event was open to the public.
At the event, the participants were also allowed to directly experiment with AI using the ASUS ROG laptop. Technically, the participants were allowed to type a description of an object they tried to visualize. Then, the AI system would read and give results in the form of a visual depiction of the typed description. Moreover, there was also a contest to generate an image using an AI participated by the whole audience.
Galuh Wilujeng Sarawati, the Coordinator of Student Affairs of the Computer Science Faculty, hoped for this event to be hosted more often. “Hopefully, through this event, students will become more motivated in learning and establishing relations,” she concluded.
