The webinar was participated by students from both Indonesia and Malaysia. It employed the theme of ‘Industry 5.0: Leading to a New Era of Human and Machine Collaboration.’

The webinar was a product of collaboration between Universiti Teknikan Malaysia Melaka (UTeM), University Malaysia of Computer Science & Engineering (UNIMY), and Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). “Through this webinar, students have chosen the correct path to up-to-date with the current technological development. This will eventually allow students to be ready to dive down to the 5.0 Industrial era, which mainly involves machines in everyday use,” he uttered.

“This opportunity can also be a bridge to knowledge and innovations, a way to further solidify collaborations between Indonesia and Malaysia, as well as shaping the young generation to prepare for the 5.0 Industrial Era,” the chancellor hoped.

On that occasion, the chancellor also encouraged participants from Malaysia to be exchange students at Udinus for a semester. Thus, students can gather knowledge from different viewpoints and allow global collaborations to be realized.

Following that session, Prof. Madya TS. Dr. Sharifah Sakinah from UTeM explored the roles of AI in supporting the global industry. The webinar was continued by a discussion presented by Assoc Prof. Mohammad Kamal Mohd Rathi from UNIMY. At the webinar, he discussed the influence of digital currency on the global economy.
