Asean University Games (AUG) 2024 was participated by 4000 athletes from 11 countries, competing against each other to win the championship. Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) participated the event as well by sending five of its athletes to represent Indonesia in five different sports.
5 of them are Dinda Putri Lestari in Taekwondo, Hera Irnandha in Karate, Muhammad Albagir in Futsal, Ahmad Hafid in Rock Climbing, and Evi Yuliana in Chess.

In her official statement, the Vice-Chancellor III for Student Affairs Udinus, Dr. Kusni Ingsih, MM, expressed her appreciation to the chosen athletes for making the nation proud at the international level. "We provide anything to support our students who are fighting at the regional, national, and international levels," he said.
Furthermore, Dr. Kusni Ingsih emphasized her hope that the five students would be able to give the best performance and make Indonesia proud. The 2024 ASEAN University Games itself is scheduled to take place in two cities in East Java, namely Surabaya and Malang. The competition took place from June 25 to July 7, 2024.
The Head of the Student Affairs Bureau, Dr. Rindra Yusianto S.Kom, MT, said that the participation of Udinus athletes in AUG 2024 is a great pride for Udinus.
"The participation of Udinus athletes in the Asean University Games (AUG) 2024 is a proud achievement for us as an educational institution," explained Rindra.
The reported data showed that Udinus ranked fourth as the highest contributor of athletes in AUG 2024 for the Indonesian contingent. Some of the sports that are planned to be contested later are athletics, swimming, futsal, badminton, sepak takraw, basketball, beach volleyball, indoor volleyball, handball, wushu, and Judo.
