Prior to becoming a professional, a student must prepare lots of things. To accommodate the needs of students, the Management Student Association at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) held an event entitled Discover Company Experience Company Visit (Comvist). As the name suggests, the event was an industrial visit held on July 10th, 2024.

In addition to members of the association, the company visit was also open to all students. In total, there were 82 students participating in this event. These students consisted of students who took the Operational Management Practical course. The target of this visitation was a company named PT. Victoria Care Indonesia, TBK.

The visitation was overseen by faculty members instructing the Operational Management Practical course, namely, Ida Farida. S.E., M.M., Haunan Damar, S.S.T., MBA., Fahmi Zakaria, S.E., M.Ak., and Imam Nuryanto, S.E., M.M. Furthermore, Dr. Mahmud, SE, MM., the Head of the Management Department in the Economics and Business Faculty at Udinus.

Muhammad Muhyiyuddin, the Head Organizer of this Visit, explained that COMVIST was a company visit by giving a positive contribution. It was conducted by the Management Student Association as a way to encourage students to learn the business process and how companies in general operate. This would allow students to learn how real-life jobs work.

“During the company visit, students were taught by one of the staff members from the company, Ibnu Wahyu Prasetyo. There were four topics discussed by Wahyu, including how to produce a product from a company, how to maintain industrial waste, how to conduct quality control, and a skincare demo,” he explained.

Dr. Mahmud, S.E., M.M., hoped -for this event to allow students to further discover their latent potential and talents, as well as shape the young generation to hold a high-quality work ethic and the idea of competitiveness.

“Hopefully, students will learn and become more aware of the importance of knowing the culture of organization within a corporation,” he concluded. (Humas Udinus/Ika. Foto: Dok. HMM Udinus).
