Facing Athletes from Different Continents

Dinda Putri Lestari explained that the competition was held at the Assumption University of Thailand. She, along with other taekwondo athletes, competed against more than 2,517 athletes from five continents.

"Around 30 countries participated, including South Korea, Russia, India, Singapore, Nepal, and the United Arab Emirates. This achievement is something we’re truly proud of, as we’ve managed to bring honor to our alma mater on the international stage," said the 2019 cohort student.

Meanwhile, Udinus’ Vice Rector III for Student Affairs, Dr. Kusni Ingsih, M.Kom., welcomed the achievement and congratulated all the Udinus athletes. Scholarships were also awarded to students who had excelled at the international level.

"We hope these scholarships will motivate other athletes to continue achieving, both nationally and internationally. We will always provide full support for student achievements, whether academic or non-academic, like taekwondo," she concluded. (Udinus Public Relations/Haris. Photo: Udinus PR)
