Two alumni from the Computer Science Faculty at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) gave advice and motivation to freshmen at the 2024 Dinus Inside. These words of advice and motivation were specifically aimed at the freshmen of the Computer Science Faculty.

Masas Dani, one of those two alumni, graduated from the Informatics Department and the Postgraduate Computer Science Department at Udinus. At the moment, he is successfully running a business named MTarget. On that occasion, Masas shared his experience as a student and emphasized the importance of self-exploration.

According to him, students have the freedom to manage their free time. Through this free time, Masas advised students to explore technology to get provisions for their careers in the future.  

“Students must dare to explore themselves and try new things. Do not be afraid to try different things, as it will be an important experience in the future,” he uttered.

In addition to Massas, the event also featured Wisnu Chandra, an alumnus of the Film and Television Department at Udinus. Currently, Wisnu teaches in the same department he used to study in. At the event, Wisnu emphasized the importance of consistency in achieving success. According to him, consistency is one of many keys to success. This is because, in the industry, an employee with persistence and consistency to keep learning is held in high regard.

“If you are persistent and consistent in doing things you are interested in, then your success is reachable within your hands,” Wisnu said.

The 2024 Dinus Inside is an important momentum for freshmen to get inspiration from successful alumni. The advice is expected to motivate freshmen to lead their lives as university students and achieve their goals in the future.
