A team of students at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) showcased their creativity and innovative ideas at the 2024 Entrepreneurship Award VIII. Their innovative ideas were presented in the form of an app named Inraga. It was bestowed two awards at once, namely the Second Place in the Business Running Category and one of the most Favorite Videos.

The accomplishments further improve Udinus’ image among campuses supporting young entrepreneurs in Indonesia. The app itself is a platform designed to simplify the promotion and management processes of SMEs relating to sports.

The app was designed by five students from Udinus, particularly the Computer Science Faculty. It consists of two Informatics students, namely, Enzo Styan Nazareno and Hibatul Azis Anshari Wihasto, and two Visual Communication Design students, namely, Faqih Hidayatulloh and Pizzonia Adham Al-Baihaqi. In addition, the project also involves a Communication Science student named Dewa Ayu Putri Tesalonika.

The app aims to support and empower Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs), particularly those within the sports sector, to be more accessible and developed in the current digital age. Enzo Styan Nazareno, the project leader, could not help but express his overwhelming joy after his project was announced as a winner.

“We are glad and proud that we could earn two awards at the same time. This project is the product of our dedication and support from the campus. This proves that our team holds immense development potential,” Enzo revealed.

Enzo also explained that the Inraga app did not only function as a platform to manage SMEs but it also held several features designed to help SME owners in developing their sports businesses.

Two of those features are RagaBattle and RagaTicket, which allow business owners to host sports events and rent sports fields. It is also equipped with a feature named RagaShop and RagaTrainer. RagaShop helps sports SMEs in marketing their products, while RagaTrainer allows SME owners to get in contact with professional sports trainers.

“Hopefully, Inraga will become a solution for sport SME owners to gradually develop their businesses and adapt to technological advancements. We develop this app with the hope of helping the sports ecosystem in Indonesia to grow,” Enzo added.

With this award, the team is expected to further develop their app and inspire their fellow students to innovate and pursue a field of opportunities as entrepreneurs. “We are certain that Inraga can be further developed and give tangible contributions to sports SMEs in Indonesia. This is only the beginning of our long journey,” Enzo concluded.

In addition to the Inraga app, there were other factors that stole the judges’ attention during the award, with one of them being their creative video presentation. At that time, the team was able to visually describe the excellent aspects of the app. The video presentation proves that the Inraga team does not only excel in innovation but also in the product presentation as well.

Dr. Kusni Ingsih, M.M., the Vice Chancellor III of Academic Affairs, also showed her appreciation and pride for the team’s accomplishments at the national award. “This proves that our campus keeps motivating students to be young innovators to compete on both national and international levels. Hopefully, this app can be more developed to serve its purpose to the public, particularly sports SME owners,” she revealed.

The 2024 Entrepreneurship Award VIII itself was an entrepreneurial competition participated by various universities in Indonesia. It aimed to push students to develop creative and innovative business ideas. This competition serves as a platform for the young generation to showcase their entrepreneurial talents, as well as to resolve various problems within the public. (Humas Udinus/Alex. Foto: Dok.
