The First Day of the Dinus Inside of the Engineering Faculty at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) employed the theme of ‘Wreck it Wraph.’ On that occasion, the freshmen were introduced to the faculty’s environment in which they would study for years to come.

At the event, all department heads within the Engineering Faculty were present. Those departments were the Electrical Engineering Department, the Industrial Engineering Department, and the Biomedical Engineering Department. The event itself was hosted on Monday, September 9th, 2024.

Ir. M. Ary Haryanto, S.T., M.Eng., the Head of the Electrical Engineering Department, guided and motivated the freshmen. He emphasized that being a student majoring in Electrical Engineering was not as difficult as everyone made it out to be.

“The Engineering Faculty at Udinus is made of fairly challenging courses. However, if one were to master these courses properly, there would be a certain satisfaction to it,” he uttered in front of the freshmen.

The advice was well received by freshmen, as they enthusiastically asked various questions of the faculty members. On that occasion, the freshmen were also seen seriously listening to the words of advice given by all lecturers attending the event.

“You are here not only to study but also to build morality for your future careers in the industry. The Engineering Faculty at Udinus will push its students to shape their morality with its sufficient facilities,” Ir. Ary added.

Alan, one of the Electrical Engineering freshmen, shared his reasons for choosing Udinus as the place of his studies. “I have been interested in electrical engineering since I was in high school, and when I got the opportunity to enroll here at Udinus, I was happy and proud to become a part of Udinus.
