The Industrial Engineering Department at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) accomplished an award at the 2024 Industrial Engineering Awards. This feat allowed Udinus to maintain its position among Indonesian private universities with huge contributions in the field of Industrial Engineering.

The award was directly received by Dr. Herwin Suprijono, M.T., the Head of the Engineering Company at Udinus, in the Soehanna Hall, at the Energy Building, SCBD, South Jakarta. The award was attended by academicians and professionals from various institutions to give appreciation to individuals and institutions, who have significantly impacted the Industrial Engineering sector.

During his interview, Dr. Herwin expressed his pride for this accomplishment. It was a product of dedication from all parties involved, particularly within the Industrial Engineering Department at Udinus.

“This accomplishment also serves as tangible proof that the Industrial Engineering Department at Udinus can compete internationally. Before this, our department also received international accreditation from the Indonesian Accreditation Board for Engineering Education (IABEE),” he emphasized.

In addition, Heru Agus Santoso, Ph.D., the Dean of the Engineering Faculty at Udinus, also appreciated this astounding accomplishment. He stated that this accomplishment was a tangible form of commitment from the Engineering Faculty at Udinus to providing the best learning quality relevant to industrial development.

“This award is not only our token of pride but it also acts as a motivation for us to keep contributing to the education sector in Indonesia through research and innovations,” Heru stated.
