The Computer Science Faculty at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) once again hosted the 2024 FIK Fair. It is a spectacular event involving a product exhibition, competitions, and an introduction to departments within the Computer Science Faculty.
The event will last for three days from December 17 to 19, 2024 in the H building at Udinus. The FIK Fair employed a more thorough concept, involving all student organizations in the Computer Science Faculty.
Students from various high schools in Semarang would be invited to see innovative works produced by the collaborations of students, faculty members, and departments within the faculty. There were interesting booths and stands on every floor in the H building, showcasing creative products from research and school projects.
Dr. Ahmad Zainul Fanani, S.Si., M.Kom., the Vice Dean I of the Computer Science Faculty at Udinus, officially opened the whole procession in the Teather Room on the seventh floor of the H building.
The 2024 FIK Fair featured various workshops, exhibitions, and competitions involving college and high school students. The competitions featured at the 2024 FIK Fair were among the most awaited events at the entire event, with these contests being hosted on the final day of the fair.
“We want to showcase our featured works from students, faculty members, and departments to the public,” Fanani revealed on Tuesday, December 17, 2022.
In addition, Fanani also hoped for the 2024 FIK Fair to bridge the gap between high school students and the realm of academics at the Computer Science Faculty of Udinus, allowing the young generation to be inspired to come up with technological and computer innovations.
“This is a golden opportunity for high school students to know our products, innovations, and departments. Meanwhile, through this fair, our students will also get the chance to show their magnificent works to the public. Hopefully, high school students will be motivated to be a part of Udinus and innovate with us someday,” he added.
The creative and innovative atmosphere was apparent throughout the whole fair. Every stand or booth offered its unique products, which mainly combine the technology and creativity of students in the Computer Science Faculty. The visitors were also encouraged to explore the research, application technology, and innovative products produced by the Computer Science Faculty through school and research projects.
