Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) is going to hold the 2025 Dinusfest. It is an annual event that will span from January 11 to February 14, 2025. This event is more than a festival, as Dinusfest has become an icon of creativity and competition that attracts thousands of participants from across the nation. It involves both high school and college students.
In 2025, Dinusfest will feature 34 different contests, including arts, sports, and technology. There are, however, five most featured competitions, including the Dinus Application Competition (Dinacom), the DN Roboco Competition, Loptasiku, the Dinus Badminton Cup VII, and the Dinus Futsal Cup.
Prof. Dr. Dra. Kusni Ingsih, M.M., the Vice Rector III of Student Affairs, stated that Dinusfest did not only serve as an arena to compete but also a platform for the young generation to showcase their latent potential. From this festival, participants will not only get experience but also connect with others.
“The 2025 Dinusfest is a tangible step from Udinus to hone their competitive nature. Moreover, we will also reward the winners with scholarships and money, particularly for high school students. These scholarships can be used to continue their studies at Udinus,” she explained.
Prof. Kusni also emphasized the importance of Dinusfest in shaping the characters of youths. It gives an opportunity to participants to expand their insight, connect with others, and explore the newest innovations in various sectors.
“In every contest or competition, there will be experiences of winning and losing. This experience will shape their motivation to be competitive, particularly in becoming better and being the best,” Prof. Kusni added.
Ever since its introduction in 2015, Dinusfest has become an annual agenda that reinforces Udinus’ position as one of the Best IT Campus in Central Java. Apart from its excellent academic quality, Udinus is also committed to supporting the development of talents and interests of the young generation through this festival.
