Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) once again showed its competence in the education sector. At the 2024 Higher Education Service Institute (LLDIKTI) Award of Region VI, Udinus triumphantly earned five different prestigious awards showing its dedication and commitment to improving the quality of higher education in Central Java.
Those five awards scoped five categories, including the Private University with the Most Progressive Learning Capacity, the Private University with the Most Progressive Partnership Management, the Private University with the Most Progressive Quality Standard Application, the Private University with the Most Progressive Work Performance and Reputation, as well as the Private University with the Best Webpage Management.
Those five awards were symbolically bestowed upon Prof.. Dr. Pulung Nurtantio Andono, S.T., M.Kom. The event was hosted at the Rama Shinta Ballroom Patra Jasa Semarang on Thursday, December 12, 2024. On that occasion, the Head of the Private University Association (APTISI) of Central Java was also present, alongside Prof. Dr. Ir. Edi Noersasongko, M.Kom., the Rector of Udinus.
During his interview, Prof. Dr. Ir. Edi Noersasongko, M.Kom., the Rector of Udinus, expressed his pride for Udinus’ success in attaining five different awards at the 2024 LLDIKTI Award of Region VI. These awards not only prove Udinus’ dedication but also serve as a motivation for Udinus to garner much more prestigious achievements in various departments. Through these awards, every possible aspect of Udinus is expected to see further improvement by coming up with more innovations.
“The awards we received from the Higher Education Service Institute (LLDIKTI) show the dedication and commitment of our academic community. In the near future, we hope for every element of Udinus to gradually improve and produce more innovations,” Prof. Edi said.
The 2024 LLDIKTI Award of Region VI also received an utmost appreciation from Prof. Dr. Pulung Nurtantio Andono, S.T., M.Kom. According to him, this event held crucial meaning in pushing universities to hone their academic and non-academic performances. The awards will further motivate educational institutions to be more innovative and progressive, particularly in fulfilling the target.
“We hereby express our appreciation to the Higher Education Service Institute of Region VI for hosting this inspirational event. We shall also congratulate the service institute for its success in hosting an award ceremony, which does not only appreciate but also push private universities to engage in collaborations and healthy competition,” Prof. Pulung uttered.
Through the awards it attained, Udinus once again secured its position as one of the most excellent private universities with consistency in supporting the development of the higher education, research, and community service sectors.
Meanwhile, during his opening speech, Dr. Bhimo Widyo Andoko, S.H., M.H.—the Head of the Higher Education Service Institute of Region VI Central Java—explained that the awards were given as a form of appreciation to universities. In addition, he also added that these awards were bestowed upon private universities of Region VI to push their synergies in making positive changes in the higher education sector.
“Congratulations to Udinus for achieving the awards! Hopefully, these awards can motivate the campus to improve its quality for the years to come.
