Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) continues to demonstrate its commitment to international academic engagement through the Erasmus+ Mobility Agreement: Staff Mobility for Teaching.
One of the programs held as part of the series was a guest lecture by a visiting professor from the University of Split, Croatia, which took place at the Theater Room, Building I, 6th Floor, on Thursday (May 26). On this occasion, Marina Rodić from the Department of Information Technology served as the main speaker. She was accompanied by Cinantya Paramita, S.Kom., M.Eng., a lecturer from the Bachelor of Informatics Engineering Program at Udinus, who also spoke at the event.
In her presentation, Cinantya introduced the Erasmus+ Mobility Agreement: Staff Mobility for Teaching to the participants. Erasmus+ is a mobility program initiated by the European Union that provides broad opportunities for students to gain academic experiences across countries.
“Erasmus+ offers invaluable opportunities for academic exchange and global exposure. This program represents a strategic step in preparing graduates with a global mindset, equipped to compete internationally,” said Cinantya in her remarks.
Beside that, Marina led a practical session on web application development using Python, guiding students through the process of creating virtual environments and installing Django—an efficient and secure framework based on the Model-View-Template (MVT) architecture.
"Through hands-on practice, the learning process for students is expected to be optimized. It starts with running pip install django, followed by checking with pip freeze. pip freezeThis process is carried out to ensure the development environment remains isolated and stable throughout the web development phase," she explained.
The session was met with great enthusiasm from Udinus students, particularly those from the Faculty of Computer Science (FIK), who actively engaged and posed insightful questions throughout the event.
