The TV Station of Udinus Campus (TVKU) has been regarded as the best local TV station of 2022 by the Indonesian Regional Broadcasting Commission (KPID) of Central Java at the Broadcasting Award.
The Broadcasting Award took place on the third floor of the E building at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus). Several nominations were announced at the event, including the best broadcaster award and the best local TV station. The event was directly opened by Asih Budiastuti, S.H., C.N., (the Head Committee of the Night Broadcasting Award) accompanied by Muhammad Aulia Assyahiddin S.S. (the Head of KPID of Central Java).
During her opening speech, Asih Budiastuti, S.H., C.N., explained that this award served as a gathering for various broadcasting communities of Central Java and has consistently been hosted since 2010. Through this event, the KPID gave appreciation to broadcasters, media management, producers, and presenters.
On that occasion, there were 223 participants nominated in 19 different categories, including the best institution, the best public service announcement, the best children's program, the best talk show program, the best feature program, the best presenter and broadcaster, and special award from the local broadcasting program.
“Seleksi sudah dimulai agustus lalu, dilanjutkan dengan visitasi ke lapangan pada Agustus juga. Penilaian dilanjutkan pada 21-22 September 2022. Kemudian untuk penjurian final pada 8-9 Oktober 2022. Peserta pun juga kami undang untuk melakukan presentasi langsung,” jelas Asih Budiastuti didepan para tamu undangan yang hadir.
The 2022 Broadcasting Award featured a performance from E-Gamelanku created by Udinus and Onenotesession. On that occasion, Tasya Romala (a singer) was also present and captivated the whole audience with her beautiful voice.
At the award, TVKU Semarang was regarded officially by KPID of Central Java as the best local TV station of 2022. The award was received by Heri Pamungkas, S.S., M.I.Kom., (the Operational Director of TVKU).
Dr. Guruh Fajar Shidik, S.Kom., M.Cs., (the General Director of TVKU) expressed his pride for this phenomenal accomplishment attained by TVKU. Furthermore, he hoped for this achievement to motivate TVKU to present even more interesting and excellent programs.
