Five students from Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) earned scholarships from Erlangga Publisher. The scholarships were directly awarded at a meeting taking place in the Student Affairs Bureau room at Udinus.
Those five students came from three different departments. Three students from the Industrial Engineering Department were awarded the scholarships, namely, Vivi Normasari, Inna Fithriyana, and Ilham Alfiyatma. The scholarships were also given to Amara Sarmaeda (a Medical Records and Information student) and Martha Erlinda Christi (a Management student).
In addition to scholarship awarding, there was also a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by Udinus and Erlangga Publisher. On that occasion, Udinus was represented by Dr. Kusni Ingsih, MM., (the Vice Chancellor III of Student Affairs at Udinus). While Erlangga Publisher sent Arie Diana Sari to represent Erlangga Publisher of the Semarang Branch.
Dr. Kusni Ingsih, MM., showed her gratitude to Erlangga Publisher for awarding scholarships to five students. Furthermore, she hoped for this partnership to continue and further benefit students.
“Hopefully, these five awardees can put these opportunities in their favor. We hereby advise these students to further earn accomplishments, particularly academic ones,” she hoped.
The scholarships awarded to five students from Udinus were a step for Erlangga Publisher to support the development of education in Indonesia. On that occasion, Arie Diana Sari also encouraged students to keep honing themselves and finish their studies with the best GPA. According to her, Udinus had given a pleasant welcome, as she was gently accepted.
“Students must study diligently and improve their academic grades. We awarded them these scholarships to motivate them to pursue their studies,” she concluded. (Humas Udinus/Alex. Foto: Humas Udinus)
