In the rapidly evolving digital era, where technology revolves around our daily life, adaptation, and understanding become crucial for individuals. To address this, Universitas Dian Nuswantoro’s (Udinus) Bachelor of Management program recently organized an insightful seminar as part of their topic of the 'International Guest Lecturer Series’.
The seminar featured esteemed speaker Dr. Mubasir Ahmad Ph.D. from the Department of Business Administration at Northern University in Pakistan. Around 480 audiences were connected through online platforms like Zoom and YouTube. The lecture focused on the theme of human resources in the digital era
“Due to the significant changes in the modern era, companies wanted employees to develop and contribute for the sake of increasing their competitiveness. Hence, to succeed in the digital era, the part of the manager to control the transformation of Human Resources is very needed.” Said Mubasir to the audience.
That Assistant professor explained that the transformation of today’s digital human resources was meant to develop the employee’s experience for achieving the company’s target effectively. “We have come a long way from paper-based systems that consumed a lot of time, but today, we have optimized these processes through digital technology," he explained.
The first step to changing human resources in the digital era was by establishing the right goals. In addition, we had to make sure that the whole members of the team were making the same digital transformation.
“The transformations will affect the entire team. So, attracting all members to merge is very important in the attainment of digital transformation,” said Mubashir.
The Dean Faculty of Economic and Business (FEB) Udinus, Prof. Vincent Didiek Wiet Aryanto MBA, PhD., attended the event as well. He wanted the course material that had been given can be understood easily by the audience.
Prof. Vincent said “I am hoping that my students find a new insight about the possible transformation that may occur in the upcoming year regarding the human resource.” (Udinus Public Relations/IKA. Photo: Doc. FEB)
