The Association of Informatics Students at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) known as HMTI has officially launched a website called jarictku.com. The launching event involved popular influencers including Aditya Ilyas, a guitarist from the Soegi Bornean Group Band.
During the launching process, three other influencers called TikTokers were involved as well, namely Aditya Syafrizal, Salwa Aliya, and Ilham Fasiphafian Machfudz. Jarictku.com, which has a variety of unique features, is designed by the team of the Coaching Student Organization Program of the Association of Informatics Students (PPKO HMTI).
As the head organizer of the PPKO HMTI team, Hanif Setia Nusantara explained that the jarictku.com website was equipped with Augmented Reality Technology that allows users to try on batik clothing virtually. This technology can improve the shopping experience to be more practical and easier. The inaugural event was held on Saturday, September 30th, 2023, which aimed to introduce the website to the public.
“We intend to publish the opening of our website jarictku.com to all people through influencers from inside and outside of Semarang City,” said Hanif.
Hanif revealed that the website jarictku.com was created to address issues within the local Batik Rejomulyo Village community. Additionally, the website also acts as a bridge to the international market. During the website development process, the PKKO HMTI team consisted of 15 members, divided into implementation and developer teams. The team was also led by Gustina Alfa Trisnapradika, M.Kom., as the instructor.
“With proper teamwork between all members, we have finally created a unique website that can also promote batik culture around the globe,” emphasized Hanis.
Prior to this event, the same coaching team from HMTI conducted a seminar for the local community in Batik Rejomulyo Village. The seminar took place in the Village Hall of the Batik Rejomulyo in Semarang and featured speakers from the excise tax regional offices of Central Java and the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY).
Gustina Alfa Trisnapradika, M.Kom., the instructor of the PKKO HMTI team of Udinus, hoped that the Student Innovations particularly the related associations, could expand the sales range of the residents at Batik Rejomulyo Village.
“Their hard work in developing this website is outstanding. This platform can be a solution for batik sales in the Village of Batik Rejomulyo. Now, customers are able to try on the batik clothing virtually instead of directly putting it on, which is a lot more practical,” Gustina concluded. (Udinus Public Relation/Alex. Photo: Doc.
