The 2024 Dinusfest hosted by Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) has officially met its end, with many students from various high schools emerging as champions of all 73 contest categories. At the finale of this event, a vocational high school, SMKN 7 Semarang, triumphantly emerged as the grand champion of the 2024 Dinusfest.

The finale was enlivened by the presence of students from various high schools in Indonesia. Every champion of their respective competition was invited to step on stage and bestowed awards in the form of trophies, medals, and scholarships. At the procession, the grand champion was also revealed. The grand champion was chosen based on the number of competitions won by a high school whose students were the victors.

Prof. Dr. Ir. Edi Noersasongko, M.Kom., the Chancellor of Udinus, expressed his gratitude to the participants for taking part in the 2024 Dinusfest. He further revealed that the event served as a platform for the campus to garner talented youths, allowing them to be nationally and internationally accomplished.

“All this time, Udinus has been appreciating accomplishments earned by students of various fields of study. Additionally, we are also committed to pushing our students to explore their latent potentials. Through this method, they would eventually attain achievements and earn scholarships,” the chancellor revealed.

On that occasion, the chancellor also sounded the drum, marking the end of the 2024 Dinusfest. At the finale, the chancellor was accompanied by several prominent figures, including Prof. Supriadi Rustad, M.Si. (the Vice Chancellor I of Academic Affairs), Dr. Kusni Ingsih, M.M. (the Vice Chancellor III of Academic Affairs), and all deans of every faculty on campus. As a whole, there were 73 contest categories featured at the 2024 Dinusfest,

Grand Champion

Monalisa Al Fitri, a student of SMK N 7 Semarang, expressed her pride for her school being able to be the grand champion of the 2024 Dinusfest. According to her, students of SMK N 7 Semarang participated in various competitions, including Dinacom, Loptasiku, and Hikari Champion. The featured contests were competitive, and she hoped for this event to be routinely hosted annually.
