Furthermore, Dra. Merry Maryati, M.Sc., the Director of Export Service Development and Creative Products, also stated that this animated show held a remarkable quality, allowing this work of art to be promoted internationally through the Ministry of Trade. In addition, she also hoped for Udinus to tie a harmonic partnership with the General Directorate of National Export Development at the Ministry of Trade soon.

“With the help of our representatives out there, we can inform and promote these astonishing works created by students. Previously, our team has seen these works, and they appeared to be above average,” she explained.

Dr. Khafiizh Hastuti, S.Kom., the Head of the Department of Animation at Udinus, expressed her gratitude and pleasure for ‘Si Warik’ to be known by the representatives. According to her, the ‘Si Warik’ project saw a constant improvement, which was embodied in a short movie in 2022.

“By 2023, we had developed video games and comic books of ‘Si Warik.’ For the years to come, we would like to develop this particular Intellectual Property (IP) to be a true masterpiece,” she hoped.

There are three main characters in ‘Si Warik,’ namely, Dian, Warik, and Endog. In this show, Dian is described as a blue-haired girl wearing blue clothing and glasses. The name Dian is derived from Universitas Dian Nuswantoro, the place in which this show is produced. (Humas Udinus/Alex. Foto: Humas Udinus)
