Currently, there are 16 faculty members in the Postgraduate Informatics Department, with five of them being professors and the rest of them doctors.
“It is not a simple task to accomplish the Excellent accreditation, as it would also take international recognition to do such a monumental task. Furthermore, our publication outputs, collaborations, and research with foreign universities, and our students’ involvement in international affairs were also assessed before earning this accreditation,” he revealed.
As a whole, the Postgraduate Informatics Department at Udinus currently has 300 active students, with an additional 80 to 100 annually. With its Excellent accreditation, the department gradually emphasizes its position as among the most prominent choices in postgraduate informatics studies. Not only that, the department has also tied collaborations with various international universities.
“We have established partnerships with numerous foreign universities, allowing our students to participate in sit-in programs and expand their global insight. In the near future, we will further maintain our quality and improve the quality of our collaborations with partners, both domestic and global. This is done to push our graduates to be competent and competitive in the global era,” Dr. Arief said.
PJJ of Undergraduate Informatics Department: A Solution for Remote Areas
Apart from the Postgraduate Informatics Department, the Undergraduate Long Distance (PJJ) of the Informatics Department has also claimed Good accreditation. This department is still relatively new, and it offers a solution for technology-based education to students from various regions.
Dr. Wahyu Aji Eko Prabowo, S.Si., M.T., the Head of the PJJ of the Informatics Department at Udinus, expressed his gratitude for the Good accreditation earned by the department.
