Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) and Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) officially established a partnership marked by a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The partnership was established in Conference Room A in the Rectorate Building at ITB on Monday, February 24, 2025.

At the event, on behalf of Udinus, the MoU was signed by the Rector of Udinus, Prof. Dr. Pulung Nurtantio Andono, S.T., M.Kom. On that occasion, he was accompanied by the Head of the Dian Nuswantoro Foundation, Lakshiputru Amindita, S.Sos., M.M., and Prof. Dr. Supriadi Rustad, M.Si., the Vice Rector IV of Research, Partnership, and Innovation Affairs of Udinus.

Meanwhile, they were directly welcomed by the Vice Rector of Communication, Partnership, Graduate, and Administration Affairs of ITB, Dr. Andryanto Rikrik Kusmara, S.Sn., M.Sn., on behalf of the rector. He was accompanied by other staff and faculty members within the academic community of ITB.

The partnership served as a form of commitment from both institutions to enhance their collaboration through various strategic programs, including curricula exchange, research collaborations, and double degree programs, which can enrich students’ experience.

The Rector of Udinus, Prof. Pulung uttered that the partnership must focus on strengthening both institutions and optimizing that the work programs align with the Tri Dharma tenets. These tenets include education, research, and community services.

Additionally, the rector also revealed that this collaboration between Udinus and ITB was not something new. Previously, there was also an excellent collaboration between Udinus and the Electrical and Informatics Engineering School at ITB.

“The previous partnership has produced several beneficial and excellent outputs. With this MoU, hopefully, Udinus and ITB will produce many more innovations to support the future of the education and research sectors in Indonesia,” he uttered.

Warm Greetings from ITB 

On a different occasion, Andryanto also stated that he looked forward to initiating the collaboration that will last for five years. It can potentially be extended depending on the agreement between both institutions.

They welcomed the partnership with the hope of inflicting positive impacts on both institutions, particularly in improving the academic and research quality, as well as expanding community services. 

In addition, ITB was also optimistic that creating innovative programs could directly impact the development of science and technology. “Hopefully, this MoU could further solidify the collaboration between ITB and Universitas Dian Nuswantoro, as well as opening many more potential collaborations in the future,” Andryanto concluded.
