The Intermediate Management Skills Training for Students (LKMM-TM) is a routine agenda hosted by Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) to push its students to be future leaders. LKMM-TM is an annual work program presented by Student Executive Board Student Family (BEM-KM) of the Arah Juang Cabinet at Udinus. This year’s LKMM-TM took place on the third floor of the E building at Udinus on Wednesday, June 18, 2025.
As the continuation of the Basic Management Skills Training for Students (LKMM-TD), this training was attended by 190 participants from the previous training session. These participants were representatives from every single student organization and activity unit at Udinus, both Udinus Semarang and Udinus Kediri. This year, the theme of LKMM-TM was ‘Strengthening Organizational Roles Through Leadership with Integrity.’
On that occasion, the Rector of Udinus, Prof. Dr. Pulung Nurtantio, S.T., M.Kom., ., was also present, accompanied by the Head of the Dian Nuswantoro Foundation—Lakshiputri Arnindita, S.Sos., M.M., and the Vice Rector III of Student Affairs at Udinus, Prof. Dr. Dra. Kusni Ingsih, S.E., M.M.

During his opening speech, Prof. Pulung emphasized that nobody knew what would happen to themselves or others in ten to twenty years in the future. Therefore, students are pushed to attend this training to grow their leadership skills.
“As the young generation, you are going to be future leaders. With the learning materials taught by today’s presenter, this training is expected to benefit students, turning them into wise and admirable leaders,” he encouraged.
In detail, the learning materials were taught from both practitioner and academic perspectives by faculty members at Udinus. The practitioner who spoke at the event was the Acting Head of the National and Political Board—Agus Joko Triyono, S.STP., M.M., who discussed the sense of nationalism among students. Meanwhile, the academic materials mainly discussed global insight, modern organizations, and the concept of SaHaBaT as an analytical device for organizations. These topics were taught by vice-rectors at Udinus per their expertise.
Meanwhile, the Head Organizer of LKMM-TM, Callista Widyaranti, reported that the primary materials were about national insight. This is done to shape students into excellent leaders in the future.
“The training will last for two days. Students will learn things from academic and practitioner standpoints. After the previous basic leadership training, in this intermediate one, students will receive even more complex materials,” she enlightened.
After that, a material entitled ‘The Young Generation as Frontliners of Protecting Nationality’ was discussed by an Udinus lecturer, Yuventius Catur Pramudi, S.Si., M.Kom. In addition, there was also a presentation entitled ‘Creative and Innovative Critical Thinking in Organizations,’ which was presented by a student who had participated in the Advanced Management Skills Training for Students (LKMM-TL).
