UDINUS RMIK TEAM WINS THE 3rd PLACE IN CLINICAL CODING COMPETITION
The students of Medical Records and Health Information Faculty of Health University of Dian Nuswantoro got an achievement. Risa Andriani, Diana Arsita, and Tri Rifa won the 3rd place of Clinical Coding Competition organized by the Professional Association of Medical Record and Health Information Indonesia (PORMIKI) of Central Java Province. This competition was held at the Ministry of Health Polytechnic of Semarang, Saturday February 4th 2017 attended by Medical Records Officer of the hospital in Central Java And Representatives Medical Record Education Institutions in Central Java, Yogyakarta and West Java.
Diana, a member of Udinus team confessed that she was proud to be able until the final round. "We can defeated participants from other universities. Even the participants that already work in the hospital," she said. Coding is important competency for medical record officers because it is the basis to claim BPJS, and also to review patient’s services in the hospital.
"This achievement is an evidence that the students of Medical Record Udinus are able to compete with students in other colleges and ready to join in work world," said Arif Kurniadi, M.Kom as Head of D3 Medical Records and Health Information (RMIK) Udinus. (* PR)
