Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) and Telkom Indonesia Ltd., agreed to tie a collaboration in an attempt to provide practical work programs for students. The collaboration is expected to push students to learn various knowledge and experiences for their eventual careers in the industry.

The agreement took place at the headquarters of the Regional Division of Telkom Semarang. On that occasion, it was explained that there were several practical work programs implemented at Telkom Indonesia Ltd. At the agreement, Prof. Dr. Supriadi Rustad, M.Si. (Vice Chancellor I of Academic Affairs), was present representing Udinus. Moreover, the Telkom Indonesia Ltd. sent Pribadi Nirwana, S.T., M.T., (the General Manager of Witel Semarang) on their behalf.

The practical work program would later be named Level Up. The practical work program itself aims to help students in garnering knowledge and experience from the experts. Moreover, students will later be placed according to their competence and field of expertise.

Pribadi Nirwana explained that the Level Up program would connect the industry to educational institutions. Nirwana further revealed that the program would also develop a work culture for students. Thus, they would be able to endure working in the industry upon graduating.

“Hopefully, we can maintain this collaboration, and Telkom Indonesia Ltd. will be able to contribute to the educational development, particularly at Udinus,” Nirwana explained.

Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Supriadi Rustad, M.Si. (the Vice Chancellor I of Academic Affairs) claimed to be delighted with the Level Up program developed by Telkom Indonesia Ltd. Additionally, this program could also serve as a platform to develop human resources, allowing the company to get positive impacts from it.

“We expect this partnership to sustain a place for our students to work as interns at Telkom Indonesia Ltd.,” he concluded. (Humas Udinus/Haris. Foto: Humas Udinus)
