Accreditation is among many aspects a college department must possess to meet the quality standard. As for Business and Economics Faculties, the accreditation is conducted by the Institute of Accreditation for Economics, Management, Business, and Accounting Programs (Lamemba). Currently, the Department of Undergraduate Management at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) will be accredited and visited by two assessors from Lamemba on February 27th, 2023.

The visitation took place in the theater room on the fifth floor of the I building at Udinus. On that occasion, the assessing team, consisting of Dr. Vanessa Gaffar, S.E., Ak., MBA, and Dr. Farida Titik Kristanti, was warmly welcomed by Prof. Vincent Didiek Wiet Aryanto, MBA, Ph.D. (the Dean of the Economics and Business Faculty). Moreover, Dr. Mahmud, S.E., M.M. (the Head of the Undergraduate Management Department) was also present accompanying the dean.

During her greetings, Prof. Dr. Vanessa Gaffar, S.E., Ak., MBA., explained that this visitation was conducted to confirm the field data. The confirmation primarily used several notes attached to the accreditation form. This accreditation was a long process by the Economics and Business Faculty.

“Hopefully, everything could run accordingly. During conducting this process, we could work cooperatively, allowing these months of process could be perfectly finished,” she uttered.

Following the greetings, those assessors interviewed the accreditation team at Udinus by ensuring that every form document matched the reality. Those documents encompassed alumni, students, and facilities data.

On that occasion, the Head of the Quality Assurance Office at Udinus, Nova Rijati, S.Si., M.Kom., also made an appearance alongside Dr. Drs. Agus Prayitno M.M. (a member of the Quality Assurance team). Their presence was to accompany faculty members of the Undergraduate Management Department.

Meanwhile, the dean also gently welcomed the arrival of the assessing team from Lamemba. Moreover, he also hoped for the Undergraduate Management Department to earn the best accreditation possible.

“Hopefully, this accreditation could motivate the Department of the Undergraduate Management to keep striving for better accreditation, namely, the Excellent accreditation. Our team has made the best possible preparation to gather the document forms,” the dean concluded.
