Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) is committed to enhancing its quality through various achievements. Recently, one of its study programs, the Bachelor of Visual and Communication Design, achieved the highest 'superior' accreditation rating. This remarkable accomplishment was recognized with an accreditation certificate from the National Accreditation Body for Higher Education (BAN-PT).
With the decree issued by the National Accreditation Body for Higher Education (BAN-PT) No. 3769/SK/BAN-PT/Ak.KP/S/IX/2023, on September 19th, 2023, the accreditation will remain valid until November 15th, 2025.
In response to the recent attainment, Ir. Siti Hadiati Nugraini, M.Kom., Ph.D., the head of the Visual and Communication Design Program, emphasized that this accomplishment is tangible proof of the high quality across various aspects, including teaching staff, learning process, students, research output, and the well-performed researches by the lecturers. This exceptional achievement reflects the collective hard work and commitment of all faculty members within the Visual and Communication Design Program.
Ir. Siti Emphasized “We will always be committed to enhancing the education quality of this study program. Now, our goal is to maintain the same quality to provide the best support toward the development of the Visual and Communication Design Program.”
Currently, the Undergraduate of Visual and Communication Design at Udinus is trying to sustain the ‘Superior’ accreditation to embody its vision of becoming the foremost choice of study program in the sector of Visual and Communication Design, along with the outstanding multimedia technology in Indonesia, integrated with entrepreneurial mindset by the year 2026.
Dr. Drs. Abdul Syukur, M.M., the Dean of the Computer Science Department, appreciated all of the hard work of the faculty members of the Visual and Communication Design Program who were involved in reaching the highest accreditation. He also hoped that the accreditation would be maintained all the time.
“In total, there are 5 study programs that possess the ‘Superior’ accreditation in the Communication Science Department. We expect to see another improvement in this department and emerging new innovations that are beneficial for the public,” concluded Dr. Abdul.
