The Abhirama Museum Exhibition hosted at the Ranggawarsita Museum was successfully decorated with numerous innovations by Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus). Those innovations included the Sekar Nuswantoro Gamelan Robot, E-Gamelan, VR Budhara, and the Virtual Museum.

The Sekar Nuswantoro Gamelan Robot was capable of delivering musical Javanese music, welcoming to the visitors’ ears. Furthermore, the Virtual Museum and VR Budhara also stole the attention of visitors at the cultural exhibition.

At the exhibition, Udinus was also supported by the Information Technology and Educational and Cultural Communication Development Center of Central Java (BPTIK). The BPTIK showed its support by showcasing other innovations at the booth. The exhibition was participated by 17 teams from various prominent museums in Indonesia.

The exhibition spanned from June 12th to 16th, 2024. It was officially opened by Uswatun Hasanah (the Head of the Education and Culture Service of Central Java). Sugiharto—the Head Curator of the Ranggawarsita Museum—stated that the collections showcased at the exhibition were chosen from numerous prominent museums in Indonesia—the artifact collections dated back to the Ancient Mataram Kingdom to the recent times.

Dr. Ahmad Zainul Fanani, S.Si., M.Kom—the Vice Dean of the Computer Science Faculty at Udinus and a CSAC researcher—explained that the collaboration between Udinus and the BPTIK could produce fascinating innovations, allowing visitors to be amazed. “Many visitors tried and amazed by our VR Budhara and Virtual Museum,” he uttered.

“It is also a token of pride for Udinus for being allowed to contribute to the development of local culture through its innovations. Furthermore, it is also impressive for our campus to host an exhibition with famous Indonesian museums,” Fanani uttered.
