The Japanese Language Study Program at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) once again took on the responsibility of organizing the highly anticipated Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT), providing central audio and rooms for thousands of participants. Participants from various regions across Central Java province and Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY) attended the test.

Udinus' Japanese Language Study Program actively contributed as a member of the JLPT Committee in Central Java, which successfully facilitated over 1425 participants. This distinguished program stands as the sole representative from Indonesia that offered the most comprehensive facilities available directly on campus. The JLPT test consisted of five different levels, ranging from N5 to N1. This globally coordinated examination took place on Sunday, July 2nd, 2023.

The Japanese Language Study Program at Udinus took the role of organizing the JLPT in the Central Java province annually. Since 2017, Udinus' Japanese Language program has consistently organized the JLPT examination. Tri Mulyani expressed the collective pride of the entire Udinus community for being selected once again as the organizer, as they were able to provide comprehensive facilities for all participants.

“The JLPT is consistently held twice a year, in July and December, by the Japanese parties. This year, Udinus is appointed as the organizer for both of those months. This event was also a perfect moment for high schoolers to experience the facilities provided by Udinus.” Said Irma.

In addition, the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) was established in Japan and had become the standard of Japanese Language certification competence all around the world. Generally, the certification is for college students and workers who intended to pursue further studies or advance their careers in Japan.
