Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) once again hosted the 2024 Dinus Expo. It is an annual event introducing 34 Student Activity Units and six Student Organizations to freshmen. The event lasts from September 9th to 10th, 2024, with the Volleyball Court in front of the D Building as the venue. The expo itself is a part of a bigger event, the 2024 Dinus Inside.

The expo attracts new students from five faculties, including the Humanities Faculty, the Engineering Faculty, the Health Science Faculty, the Medicine Faculty, and the Economics and Business Faculty. Meanwhile, the new students of the Computer Science Faculty will be allowed to visit the expo on the third day of the 2024 Dinus Inside.

Every stand at the expo shows its uniqueness to attract students. For example, the Campus Pers Wartadinus Unit offers the experience of a free ‘photobooth,’ and the Islamic Unit shows cosplays and exhibitions. Furthermore, the Theather Unit was also seen using the ‘partner in crime’ as the theme, with a detective board decorating the stand.

In addition, stands from various student organizations also offer various interesting attractions, including free medical check-ups from the Medicine Faculty, a cooking demonstration from the Humanities Faculty, and a biomedical and technological exhibition from the Engineering Faculty.

Bintang Islamiru Hidayah, a freshman majoring in Medical Science, said that the 2024 Dinus Expo helped him to get informed concerning the Student Activity Units and Organizations on Campus.

“After visiting the expo, I realized that there are so many Student Activity Units and Organizations at Udinus. I will be able to join one of these units to satisfy my passion and interests,” Bintang uttered.

The 2024 Dinus Expo does not only serve as an introduction but also opportunities for new students to find the communities where they truly belong, as well as be active in various campus activities.

As additional information, the Dinus Inside itself is a student orientation event for freshmen, with a total of 3,567 freshmen participating in the event. The event, which lasts for three days, aims to introduce freshmen to the academic systems and various important aspects on campus. (Humas Udinus/Cantika WTDN. Foto: Humas Udinus)
