Gaining public trust by the joining of 3.573 new students, Dian Nuswantoro University (Udinus) does not stop right there. Udinus continues to improve the competence of students by giving them knowledge and skills that can be used by them when they are graduate.
Not only based on the study program that they take right now, but also Udinus provide them with skills that can support them when they are graduated. Learning foreign language is one of the skills that is important when it comes to face the stakeholder, especially ASEAN Economy Community (MEA) which existed since 2015. To provide qualified graduates, Center for Foreign Languange Training (CFLT) of the Faculty of Humanity (FIB) Udinus held Training of Trainers (ToT) of Business English, on Thursday, 7th of September in G building 3rd floor.
In this event, Udinus invited Derek Spafforfd, a lecturer from Thailand as well as consultant from Macmillan. We invite 30 lecturers of English Business lecturer from inside and outside Udinus to improve the teaching technique of English Course, "said Setyo Prasiyanto Chayono, SS, M.Pd. as the manager of CFLT Udinus.
Udinus cooperate with Macmillan Edu, a publisher of textbooks in University. With the ToT, the lecturers can deliver the course with an interesting technique and can include 4 skills that are expected. "Udinus wants to change the paradigm, that Udinus students are not only good at listening, writing, and reading only, but also speaking in English, so later on, they could face the career world especially when it comes to write the Curriculum Vitae (CV) and also when it comes to an interview in English” added Setyo.
