An internship program is a quest every student must go through. Nisaa’Nur Karimah (20), a student of the Accounting Study Program at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus), also went through that phase to gather experience for her upcoming career in the industry.

Nisaa’Nur Karimah, better known as Icak, was impressed with her work environment as it could shape her to be more competent. In this internship program, she was dispatched to an administration and general position, in which she was trained to be disciplined and understand how the government works, particularly at the Inspectorate. “Here, I finally get the chance to apply the knowledge I gathered on campus encompassing how to manage data, archive, and input the data in accordance with the main duties at Inspectorate,” she revealed.

Before participating in this internship program, Icak underwent a series of selection tests with other students who were also offered to join this program. One of the selection tests was the ability to utilize Microsoft Office. “Alhamdulillah, I and my other eleven friends finally got the chance to experience what working in the industry feels like. Hopefully, I could implement the knowledge I gathered here on campus to its fullest, especially in the industry,” Icak, born on September 17, 1999, in Klaten, explained.

This internship was a result of a partnership tied by Udinus with the Regional Inspectorate of Central Java. This served as the first step for Udinus to improve the quality of its students, with the expectation of producing graduates with a high sense of integrity.

Additionally, during her studies, Icak also actively participated in a Student Organization known as The Economic and Business Faculty Student Executives (BEM FEB). She had been a part of the Student Executives ever since she was a freshman. “In the 2019 incumbency, I held the responsibility to be the Governor of the Economic and Business Faculty Student Executives scoping the entire faculty,” she concluded.
