The Health Science Faculty at Udinus Tied a Partnership with NTUNHS to Solidify the Quality of Its Tri Dharma Philosophy

Universitas Dian Nuswantoro, (Udinus) has officially tied a partnership with the National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences (NTUNHS). The beginning of that collaboration was marked by the signature of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between both parties.

At the agreement, Prof. Dr. Ir. Edi Noersasongko, M.Kom., (the Chancellor of Udinus) was present accompanied by Prof. Dr. Pulung Nurtantio Andono, S.T., (the Vice Chancellor IV of Research and Partnership Affairs at Udinus). Meanwhile, NTUNHS sent Prof. Wu Shu Fang to be a representative at the agreement. The procession took place in the conference room located on the first floor of the H building on Wednesday, April 24th, 2024.

Several eyewitnesses from both parties also made an appearance. From Udinus, the procession was witnessed by Prof. Dr. Supriadi Rustad, M.Si., (the Vice Chancellor I of Academic Affairs), Enny Rachmany SKM, M.Kom., Ph.D., (the Dean of the Health Science Faculty), Dr. Ir. Dwi Eko Waluyo, M.M., (the Head of the International Affairs at Udinus), and other staff members within the Health Science Faculty.

During his opening speech, Prof. Pulung was honored to tie a direct partnership with a university from Taiwan. Through this partnership, both parties are committed to publishing more research and journals, conducting student exchange programs, and hosting the double degree program.

“Through this partnership, we hope for our faculty members and students to gather new perspectives on an international level, particularly concerning Health Sciences. This collaboration aligns with our goal, namely, to become a World Class university." he uttered.

Furthermore, Enny Rachmani (the Dean of the Health Science Faculty) explained that this partnership would scope both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. It means that this partnership could serve as a golden opportunity for diploma students to continue their studies to the undergraduate level. It also applies to undergraduate students intending to continue their postgraduate studies.

“We will utilize this collaboration to its fullest capacity, as this Tri Dharma collaboration can potentially be an important aspect for our faculty members to improve their teaching and research quality. Additionally, we also intend for our future graduates to compete at an international level,” she uttered.

New Insight

Upon the agreement procession, NTUHS also discussed the program that will be conducted by both parties. The discussion was led by Professor Lin Yin Yuan (the Head of the Department of Exercise and Health Science) and Professor Lin Li Ju (the Director of Smart Healthcare Interdisciplinary College).

Meanwhile, Prof. Wu Shu Fang (the President of NTUNHS) stated that his party was fortunate enough to be able to tie a partnership with an Indonesian university. Furthermore, he also looked forward to the student exchange and scholarship programs to be conducted.
