During their break from the league, Irfan Jauhari and Reza Irfana used this opportunity to finish their studies. For this to happen, both of them coordinated with faculty members in the Economics and Business Faculty at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro, (Udinus) on Tuesday, May 5th, 2024.

The coordination was conducted with Dr. Kusni Ingsih, M.M., the Vice Chancellor III of Academic Affairs. On that occasion, they discussed the proper topics for their theses, particularly in the field of management. Their presence on campus sparked a great atmosphere radiated from students and faculty members alike.

During their interview, Dr. Kusni Ingsih, MM., appreciated the dedication of those two football athletes of the Indonesian National Team in completing their studies. She also outright advised these two athletes to pick topics surrounding football, with the example being their team management.

“Just now, Irfan Jauhari and Reza Irfana have proposed several topics for their theses. Their topics must also be concerning their expertise, particularly management,” she stated.

Continuing Their Theses

Irfan Jauhari was glad to meet Prof. Dr. Ir. Edi Noersasongko, M.Kom., (the Chancellor of Udinus), and the whole academic community as a way to discuss his thesis. He revealed that the academic community had fully supported him in continuing his studies. One of those supports was channeled by allowing Irfan to exchange his presence with additional assignments, as Irfan was busy competing.

“I always maintain my communication with faculty members because I need to compete and train. Thankfully, they understood and allowed me to take other assignments and exams in exchange for the original ones,” he explained.

Irfan added that he also supported athletes from Udinus competing for the Indonesian National Team, which would compete against Guinea at the 2024 Olympics play-off . He also expressed his optimistic ideas that the national team would gain an entrance to compete at the Olympics.

“To all my fellow athletes, Arhan Pratama, Rio Fahmu, and Ernando Ari keep doing your best and bring our country to its greatest heights!” Irfan uttered.

Irfan Jauhari and Reza Irfana also gave their jerseys to the chancellor and Prof. Dr. Pulung Nurtantio Andono, S.T., M.Kom., (the Vice Chancellor IV of Research and Partnership Affairs).

The chancellor explained that their presence was a form of their commitment to finishing their theses. To appreciate this commitment, the academic community at Udinus conveyed its support to these athletes so they could achieve more remarkable accomplishments.
