“I have been running a custom technology business since 2017, following that year I enrolled at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) to continue my study. Thanks to the campus support, I acquired funding from the Indonesian Students Business Competition (KBMI) for 3 years in a row,” Usamah Bienladen (24) uttered.
 
Usamah, an alumnus of the Electrical Engineering Study Program at Udinus. owned a custom technology business named Ardusstore. Ardusstore, located in Semarang, aimed to supply engineers in creating electrical projects. It offered many things including, Arduino project custom creations, and various electrical components. 
 
“Up to this point, my business could gather more than Rp. 150 million in turnover monthly. I will also open several branches in many cities to expand my business,” answered the owner of @ladenoesami Instagram account.
 
Usamah, born in Semarang on August 21st, 1998, worked as a manager and supervisor in every position at Ardusstore. He revealed that accounting, marketing, research, and supply chain management were all under his supervision and responsibility. Usamah also admittedly claimed that he had learned lots of things during his time at Udinus, which to this day are still being implemented in his daily job. 
 
“I implemented knowledge that I got during my study at Udinus including, programming, entrepreneurship, and the electric power industry. Thence, I learned many things regarding Programmable Logic Controller used in many businesses," Usama, who graduated in 2022, added.
 
With his newly achieved Bachelor of Engineering degree, he managed to obtain KBMI funding to improve his business even further. During his time as a student at Udinus, Usamah grasped many achievements such as, being the winner of the Indonesian Innovation Talent Funding Program, the best student in the Independent Campus Competition Program (PKKM), and a runner-up in the 2021 KMI AWARD KBMI. 
 
“In my opinion, Udinus has various advantages in the Engineering Faculty, such as sufficient equipment in the robotic sector, educative and constantly updated curriculum, and the implemented MBKM program,” Usamah concluded.
 
Usamah, formerly an Internal Leader in the HMPI organization, wished to refine his business to a new height. Moreover, he is currently pursuing his master's degree in Management.
