Two Faculty Members in the Field of Communication and Economics at Udinus Improve the Academic Quality on Campus by Acquiring Doctoral Degrees

Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) is committed to improving its academic quality by getting two faculty members to achieve doctoral degrees in Communication and Economics. Those two faculty members were Dr. Raden Ayu Aminah Rizkia Puspita Sari, S.E., M.M., and Dr. Heri Pamungkas, S.S., M.I.Kom. These new additions of faculty members with doctoral degrees will reinforce the capability of Udinus to produce better graduates.

Dr. Raden Ayu Aminah Rizkia Puspita Sari finished her doctoral studies in the Economics and Business Faculty at Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) Semarang. Dr. Heri Pamungkas obtained his doctoral degree in the Department of Doctoral Development Counselling/Community Empowerment at Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta.

Prof. Dr. Ir. Edi Noersasongko, M.Kom., the Chancellor of Udinus, warmly welcomed these accomplishments. He emphasized that with two additional lecturers with doctoral degrees, Udinus would be more popular and reputable on a national level. This is because the campus has a relevant academic background. 

“These two lecturers will be able to contribute to improving the academic quality at Udinus, both in the Economics and Communication fields,” the chancellor uttered.

Meanwhile, Dr. Heri Pamungkas revealed that achieving the doctoral degree was not an easy task. According to him, this process bred satisfaction and struggle. He further hoped that his research would also benefit other industries in addition to the broadcasting industry.

“Hopefully, my research can reach other communities as a way to further develop the communication field, particularly among Muslim Youths,” he uttered.

Meanwhile, Dr. Raden Ayu Aminah Rizkia Puspita Sari added that the doctoral degree she earned was a part of her commitment to improving the education sector.

“Hopefully, I can further provide bigger contributions in the economics sector and help our students to earn better academic accomplishments,” she said.
