Participating in the 2024 Erasmus+, Three Students from Udinus Undergo a Study in Croatia for the Next Six Months

Three undergraduate students from Universitas Dian Nuswantoro, (Udinus) is currently undergoing a study for six months at the University of Split, Croatia. Three of them is currently studying their fields of expertise there.

Those three students were Nauval Dwi Primadya and Sahrul Yudha Fahrezi, both Informatics students and Riz Yudha Tama, an Accounting student. Prior to their departure, they were obliged to fulfil several requirements and tests given by their respective departments. In addition, they were able to be the best candidates among dozens of students applying for this program.

During his interview, Nauval Dwi Primadya claimed he was glad to be selected for this student exchange program. Being able to conduct research with a professor at the University of Spit was something he could only dream of, and he finally got to live his dream. According to him, this program could serve as a trove of experience for him, as he had already earned many experiences for the past several weeks alone.

“It is truly an excellent opportunity for me to study at the University of Split, Croatia. At this university, I get to conduct research with an amazing professor. I will not allow this magnificent opportunity to just pass by,” Nauval uttered.

Meanwhile, Riz Yudha Tma, an Accounting student, is currently undergoing an Accounting Major at the University of Spit. According to him, this was a brand-new experience he was glad to experience, which allow him to open his new worldview and improve his insight concerning the field of accounting. Furthermore, he revealed his curiosity about how accounting was taught in foreign universities, which motivated him to participate in this program.

“I also participate in this program to further hone my accounting competence. As for the preparation, I did not really do that much, only learning English. Here in Croatia, I can learn more deeply concerning the field of accounting and many others,” he explained.

Words of Advice

Before they depart for Croatia, those three students visited the chancellor, Prof. Ir. Edi Noersasongko, M.Kom., and asked for advice on the Chancellor Room located on the first floor of the G building.

Naiza Rosalia, M.Si., a faculty member from the Communication Science Department, congratulated and expressed her pride toward those three students. She hoped for them to be able to study properly and improve their skills of expertise.

“Hopefully, they can utilize this opportunity to its fullest potential. Moreover, I hereby advise them to study even more there in Croatia, and they looked passionate enough for this program to run properly,” she concluded.

Naufal, Riz, and Syahrul participated in a student exchange program, which is a product of collaboration between Udinus and the University of Split. This program is entitled the 2024 Ereasmus+. The second they arrived in Croatia, those three students visited the University of Split and talked with several faculty members and professors on that campus.
