The Accomplished Students Election has discovered students with latent potential at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro, (Udinus). The competition, which involved the best students across all faculties on campus, sought students’ accomplishments, creative works, certificates of acknowledgment, and careers in organizations.

The election, initiated by the Student Affairs Bureau (Bima) at Udinus, successfully forged a path for two accomplished students, namely, Aelvicki Lindra Kelana (an Animation student) and Petter Hans Heavenly (an English student).

Aelvicki added that the candidates of the election were obliged to come up with creative ideas and create a video presentation in English. During his preparation for this election, he gathered certificates from competitions he participated in and acknowledgments he gained, as well as registered his creative works to earn intellectual rights.

“My motivation to be a candidate in the Accomplished Students Election is to prove that students are not only gifted with intelligence and creativity but also are tasked to perfect the society through soft skills and hard skills,” he highlighted.

“I also seek to be a student capable of delivering the best results. Thus, I can make my parents and the campus proud of my accomplishments both on the national and international levels,” he uttered.

Meanwhile, Dr. Rindra Yusianto, S.Kom., M.T., explained that the Accomplished Students Election was among the Independent Campus programs initiated by the Ministry of Education. It aims to push students to become more capable in various fields besides academics.

“We are committed to encouraging our students to be more creative, innovative, competitive, and moral. The elected students will advance to the next election, which involves students from various universities in Central Java,” he concluded.
