This Holy Month of Ramadan is a moment for many to do good deeds and earn blessings. This very moment was utilized by the Hotel Management Department at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus). Through their collaboration with the Indonesian Chef Association (ICA) of Central Java, the Hotel Management Department hosted a food giveaway at an event entitled ‘ICA Cooking on The Road.’

The event was held on Wednesday, April 3rd, 2024, with roughly 250 food portions being given away at the courtyard of the E building at Udinus. The giveaway gave a selection of menus, including snacks, ice creams, and iced beverages.

Dr. Neni Kurniawati, S.S., M.Hum., the Head of the Hotel Management Department, mentioned that this was the first time Udinus being involved in the ICA Cooking on the Road. Not only did the event scope the food giveaway, it also constituted the cooking process as well in the daytime.

“This partnership has been going on for two years. However, this is the first time we are involved in the Cooking on the Road. Through this collaboration, we have also conducted many activities, with a cooking workshop being one of them. Hopefully, we will be able to carry out this same food giveaway for the years to come,” she concluded.
