The 2024 Regional Art Week for Students of Central Java was a prideful moment for Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus), particularly its students who managed to earn eight different accomplishments in numerous contest categories.
These students came from numerous departments at Udinus, with three of them being Visual Communication Design students. They consisted of Gabriel Tyas Yudistira Darmesta (the Champion of the Artistic Photography category), Gianti Tri Ikhsani (the Runner-up of the Social Campaign Media Design category), and Guntur Pamungkas (third place in the Artistic Painting Category).
Meanwhile, two Informatics students were also able to stand their ground. These students were Dennis Adiwinata Irwan Soeroso (the Runner-up of the Men’s Opera Seria Singing Category) and Gianti Tri Ikhsani (the Runner-up of the Monologue Category).
Additionally, Nareswari Kinanthi Gusti, a Management student, managed to secure second place in the Women’s Opera Seria Singing Category. An English student under the name Tarisa Adinda Putri was also able to prove her writing skills in the Short Stories Category by winning third place. Lastly, Ahmad Meisafrozi, a Public Health student, was able to win first place in the Men’s Dangdut Vocal Category.
Dr. Kusni Ingsih, M.M., the Vice Chancellor III of Student Affairs Udinus, delivered her utmost appreciation for the accomplishments earned by students at the 2024 Regional Art Week for Students of Central Java. These accomplishments prove that students of Udinus were able to be artistically skilled on the regional level.
“We are proud of our students for showcasing their incredible skills at the 2024 Regional Art Week for Students of Central Java. Eight of them were even able to garner accomplishments for Udinus,” Dr. Kusni uttered.
Furthermore, these accomplishments also serve as a motivation for students to represent Central Java at the upcoming 2024 National Art Week for Students. “Not only do these accomplishments induce pride in these talented students, but they also cause the emergence of pride and hope within the academic community as well,” she added.
The Regional Art Week for Students is an annual event housing a place for students within a region or province to compete in numerous artistic branches.
