Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) will host the Fresh Graduate Academy Digital Talent Scholarship Program (FGA-DTS) for graduates who have yet to initiate their careers in the industry. Out of all 263 students from numerous universities in Indonesia participating in this scholarship program, 163 of them are students from Udinus.
This program provides digital competence per the development of science and technology in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. It also involves various prominent partners, including Cisco, Oracle, Microsoft, Huawei, and Redhat, as well as other local technological education partners and universities.
Fauzi Adi Rafrastara, M.Cs., the Head Committee of the FGA-DTS Program, explained that the program can be participated by university students and graduates. For students, they have to be at least in their fifth semester, and as for graduates, the program is aimed at those who have yet to embark on their careers.
“We host this event to provide skills for both students and graduates from Udinus, so they can compete with the professional industry or establish one themselves,” he uttered.
Fauzi also added that this program is open to all students of various expertise, which is currently dominated by the Informatics and Information Systems fields. As for the themes of the training program, the committee provides numerous of them, including IT Fundamentals, CFNW Network Engineer, Big Data Using Python, Database Design & Programming with SQL, Primavera P6. and Azure for Beginners.
“Through this training program, participants will be able to get internationally-standardized knowledge from Glotech Companies. In addition, they will also be given a completion certificate from numerous partners and the Ministry of Information and Communication,” he revealed.
Dwi Eko, the Head of the Partnership and International Affairs at Udinus, reported that this year’s FGA-DTS would involve 10 faculty members at Udinus as instructors. These instructors have previously taken the Training of Trainer (ToT) trainer, and they will also be divided to handle the aforementioned themes.
