The Engineering Faculty at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) Semarang has three departments, including Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Biomedical Engineering Departments. Currently, the Engineering Faculty has tied a partnership with Universitas Brawijaya (UB) Malang. This partnership primarily focused on improving the quality of the Tri Dharma Philosophy.
The partnership between the two parties was officially signed in the conference room on the first floor of the I building. On that occasion, Udinus was represented by Heru Agus Santoso, Ph.D., (the Dean of the Engineering Faculty at Udinus). While UB sent Prof. Ir. Hadi Suyono, S.T., MT., IPU., ASEAN., Eng. (the Dean of the Engineering Faculty at UB). In addition, all heads of departments within the Engineering Faculty at Udinus were also present at the procession.
Heru Agus Santoso, Ph.D., stated that this partnership was expected to serve as a major breakthrough in improving the Engineering Faculty quality at both Udinus and UB. At the procession, both parties also discussed the Tri Dharma Philosophy.
“Kedepan dengan adanya penandatangan ini, peningkatan kualitas lulusan dari program credit transfer akan tercapai. Kolaborasi Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) DI kedua PT juga menjadi pembahasan dalam pertemuan tersebut,” Jelas Heru Agus saat menjelaskan mengenai kerjasama antara Udinus dan UB.
Prof. Ir. Hadi Sutoyo, ST., MT., IPU., ASEAN ENG also looked forward to conducting this partnership with Udinus. According to him, Udinus was among the universities in Indonesia committed to creating breakthroughs in improving the learning system. Furthermore, he also hoped for this collaboration to be sustainable and beneficial for both parties.
“Kami menyambut baik kerjasama ini, udinus sendiri jadi kampus terkemuka karena terobosannya dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran. Harapannya ini terus berlanjut dan bermanfaat bagi kedua Perguruan Tinggi,” ujarnya. (Humas Udinus/Alex. Foto: Humas FT Udinus)
