A total of 22 students in the Humanities Faculty at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) will participate in internship programs. Those students would later be sent to three different countries, including Malaysia, Japan, and Taiwan.

The internship programs will last for six months. Those students were mainly from the Department of Hotel Management and the Department of Japanese Literature, with 14 of them being Hotel Management students, while the rest were Japanese Literature students. As additional information, nine Hotel Management students will work as an intern in Taiwan, and five others work in Malaysia. Meanwhile, all eight Japanese Literature students will have Japan as their country of destination.

Prior to their departure, on Friday, April 14th, 2023, all those students bid farewell to the Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Ir. Edi Noersasongko, M.Kom. On that occasion all students were accompanied by Dr. Raden Arief Nugroho, S.S., M.Hum. (the Dean of the Humanities Faculty), Neni Kurniawati, M.Hum. (the Head of the Hotel Management Program), Dr. Bayu Aryanto, S.S., M.Hum. (the Head of the Japanese Literature Program), and Izza Ulumuddin Ahmad Asshofi, S.E., M.MPar. (the Coordinator of Internship and Partnership Affairs in the Humanities Faculty).

During his interview, Izza Ulumuddin Ahmad Asshofi, S.E., M.MPar., explained that the intern students would work in the field of hospitality. Moreover, those 22 students would obtain many benefits, one of those being an international hotel chaincertificate. In addition, the students would also be internationally recognized.

"At the workplace, our students will receive salaries according to the terms from the companies. Moreover, the students have learned the languages of their destined country," he explained.

Furthermore, those students had also been directly instructed by Derek Li, the CEO of Sheraton Hotel Taoyuan. The instruction was embodied through an event hosted in the auditorium located on the seventh floor of the H building.

Dextrina Celina Zaphira Wijaya, one of the intern students, expressed her utmost pleasure in participating in an international internship program. According to her, that opportunity was one in a million, and she would do her best to work as an intern.
